Having A Good Day Today

Today has been a pretty good day. I worked with my boss April, she's pretty awesome and makes me laugh. I had to get up at 5:30a but I didn't mind too much. It was cold this morning when I woke up but I am sure it could have been a lot colder so I won't complain. Lol. However, I didn't want to get out of bed because it was soooo warm under my blankets cuddled up next to my two furbabies Cinder and Rocky. At work it started off as a slow day but then it eventually picked up and got busier thankfully. I like to stay busy because it makes time go by faster. Which I love because when my work time goes by fast that is closer to the time I get to come home to Rocky and Cinder. So today I have been feeling a little philosophical I guess you could say as well as creative. I have written several pretty good Facebook posts as well uploaded some good podcasts on my Spreaker account. If you have never heard of Spreaker it is an app for the iPhone which I love. You can create an account and start creating your own podcasts and you can follow other people's podcasts. Pretty cool eh'. Check out this awesome Facebook Cover Photo I created.
Pretty cool eh' So if you would like to listen to my Podcasts you can do so by clicking on this link I have put up new posts on my Avon Blog if any Avon Reps want to check them out. Lots of useful information that you can use in your Avon business as well as if you are a Network Marketer. Here is the link My friend Stacy and I have been collecting backpacks for the homeless. So far we have given one backpack to a homeless Veteran that used to come in my store whom I haven't seen in a few weeks. He seemed to be a good guy. Very grateful for the backpack that we gaev him. Well, Stacy and I have also created an event on Facebook for Backpacks For The Homeless. Here is the link to it if you would like to join the event Last night I was so cold but thankfully I had Cinder and Rocky on each side of me to keep me warm. I had two blankets on us but woke up at 2am and had to put a third blanket on the bed. A friend of mine asked me earlier if I drink, I told her only in October because that is when I celebrate Oktoberfest of course because well I am German and I like to celebrate my German Heritage. My point is it made me think about being German and drinking. Ha so it made me think of a time in my past and so I wrote this status on Facebook. Saying "I am German I can drink you under the table" got me in trouble many years ago when I was living in Radford. Yeah I drunk everyone under the table that night but I also ended up getting alcohol poisoning and boy did I feel like shit the next day. Man I had a hangover from hell. That was in my early twenties, I am in my thirties now and I sooo cannot do that again. One of my Facebook friends posted earlier about how she hates her life and she is done. BLAH! People these days are so ungrateful and don't appreciate what they have. I see a lot of people complaining about their life and YES, I am guilty of this sometimes too. I have too many flaws to be perfect. But I have too many blessings to be ungrateful. Remember, the things you take for granted someone else is praying for. You think your life is so bad, others have it much worse. Be grateful you have a roof over your head. Be grateful you have food to eat. Be grateful you have loved ones near. Some people are homeless, some people go hungry, some people are alone and have no family. Learn to appreciate what you do have and stop focusing on what you don't have. Stop complaining about your life and be grateful for it and you will see how much happier you will become. Point is, STOP COMPLAINING, BE GRATEFUL!!!! Man I'm cold. I need to stop forgetting to take my iron pills. The babies are nice and warm cuddled together. Yeah so I forgot to take my iron pill this morning. Sad because I have a reminder on my phone to remind me. I downloaded this app called Mango Health and you put in all your medicines and what time you are supposed to take them and then then it reminds you to take them. I mostly ignore the reminder for my iron pill because I am not close to where my pills are or I am too lazy to take the moment to walk over to the cabinet to take my pill. I really should start working on this though. I believe that the best things in life are free. I believe that you should treat people kindly until they treat you like shit. I believe that married men should keep their junk in their pants and married women should not be generous with their goodies. I believe that if you don't mean what you say, you should shut the fuck up, and I believe that if more people thought this way, the world would be a better place. Just a little food for thought I guess you could say. This is the advice that I gave my Avon team today. Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will. Always trust yourself, you know more than you think. So have confidence in yourself! Instruction does much, but encouragement everything. I am here to encourage you and lift you up. Because that is what a good team leader does. And remember, twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor, catch the tradewinds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover I also gave them this piece of advice, because well, some of my team members needed a little boost and inspiration and encouragement. Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined. Each day is a new life. Seize it! Live it! Risk more than others think is safe. Care more than others think is wise. Dream more than others think is practical. Expect more than others think is possible. And remember, never let the odds keep you from doing what you know in your heart you were meant to do. On the phone with Mom now and its 9:36pm and it is time for bed. Rocky and Cinder are laying on their blankets on the kitchen floor in front of the stove. I had the stove door open and turned on to get some heat in the kitchen. They are laying in front of it because it is warm. It is cold in my house. I mean the thermostat is turned on 60 but I am still cold. I am cold natured anyway. I have to work tomorrow which means I have to go to bed because I have to get up at 5:30 am. And 5:30a comes very early in the morning. Like I said earlier I am not complaining however I would rather be off from work tomorrow so I can stay home all day with my babies. I miss them when I am at work :( Everyone have a wonderful night, until tomorrow see ya later. Gute Nacht! That means Good Night in German.

Losing My Motivation & Energy

Oh as the sun goes down I begin to lose my motivation as well as my energy. The sun gives me energy, may sound strange but it does. It really is troublesome having seasonal depression. BUT, this year has definitely been better so far then previous years having seasonal depression. At least I am trying to make it so. The past years having seasonal depression during the winter and cold months I have mostly stayed in the house and have not had much motivation unfortunately. BUT, it is a new year and a new me and I am trying to not repeat my past but make things better so I can have a great year. So far so good. I talked to my Cousin Sandy about the Raw Diet that she has been so interested in and been doing and I believe it is time to give that a try. So starting tomorrow I am going to go to the store along with my list of ingredients and pick up what I need so I can make a Raw Smoothie. I have decided to choose the Energy Raw Smoothie since I could use all the energy I can get. This should be interesting. I will note my results and opinions of it.

Google Search: Bean Family

I have done a lot of research on the Bean family side on Ancestry.com but haven't done much further than that. See my Dad was born Johann Kirchner and ended up getting adopted by Allen & Irene Bean while Allen was in the Army stationed in Germany. So my Dad was adopted by them, and as far as my Dad's side of the family goes they are the only grandparents that I know of. I don't know much at all really about my Dad's birth parents. I never knew them so I consider the Bean's my Grandparents. However I didn't get to really meet my Grandpa Bean because he died one month after I was born. I was told he got to hold me after I was born and a month later which was in May, he died. My Grandma Bean I got to spend more time with. She lived in Townsend, Tennessee and we stayed there a lot when I was a kid. She died in 1988 though so I didn't get to spend as much time with her as I would have liked. Something I found on a website: Bean Name Meaning English: metonymic occupational name for a grower or seller of beans, from Old English bean ‘beans’ (a collective singular). Occasionally it may have been applied as a nickname for a someone considered of little importance.English: nickname for a pleasant person, from Middle English bene ‘friendly’, ‘amiable’ (of unknown origin; there is apparently no connection with Bain or Bon).Scottish: Anglicized form of the Gaelic personal name Beathán, a diminutive of beatha ‘life’.Translation of German Bohne, or an altered spelling of Biehn. See also Bihn.Mistranslation of French Lefevre. As the vocabulary word fèvre ‘smith’ was replaced by forgeron, the meaning of the old word became opaque, and the surname was reinterpreted as if it were La fève, from fève ‘(fava) bean’. Lefevre is the most common name in French Canada; great numbers of them migrated to the US, where many adopted the name Bean, in the belief that it was a translation of Lefèvre. See also Lafave. Here is something else I found, I am guessing my family originated from Scotland. Not sure though, I don't I ever got that far back in my family research. Our Bean family line originates with William Bean, of the Clan MacBean, who was born about 1635 in Inverness Shire, Scotland. This history traces this Bean line four generations to Elizabeth (Bean) Russell, wife of George Russell, born in 1723 in Northumberland County, Virginia. The Beans and Russells were well established in Pittsylvania County, Virginia in the mid-1700's. There were many intermarriages and the families migrated together to colonize what later became Blount County, Tennessee. Basic forms of the Bean surname include Bean , Bain, Bane, Bayne, Vean, Beth, Beath, Binney, MacBean , Macbean, Mackbean, M'Bean, MacVean, MacIivain, MacVain, MacVane, MacBain, McBain, MacBane, MacBayne, MacBeth, MacBeath, MacBan. (Across the centuries, in common with all ancient Highland clans, there was no "correct" or even uniform spelling of MAC BAIN. However, MacBean was, perhaps, most frequently used.) The Gaelic version is pronounced MacBheathain (Son of the Lively One). The main character in Shakespeare's MacBeth was MacBeth MacBean. The Clan MacBean Motto is "Touch Not A Catt Bot A Targe" meaning that as a Cat Clan, you do not want to mess with us unless you have protection. The Targe is a shield made of wood or metal and rawhide. It was part of the armor used in battle. An English and Scottish surname, Bean comes from the Middle English term ‘bene’ which refers to the growing or selling of beans and to a pleasant person. There is also the Gaelic term ‘betha’ which means life. The spelling variations for Bean include McBain, Been, McBean, Beaine, MacVain, MacBean, Baine and Bayn. A German spelling of Bean would be Bohne and Biehn. In England across the country there are many individuals with the Bean name. Most live in Norfolk, Essex, Kent, Yorkshire and the city of London. In Scotland there are many with the Bean surname. Most live in Aberdeenshire, Perthshire, Lanarkshire and Angus counties. Within the United States Bean families originated in Massachusetts, New York, Maine, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, Texas and California. Famous: Alan L. Bean (astronaut), Mollie Bean (a woman in the American Civil War who dressed as a man to serve in the Confederate Army), Phantly Roy Bean Jr.(Justice of the Peace in Texas from his saloon), Orson Bean (television actor), Andy Bean (professional golfer), Marcus Bean (footballer from England) and Colter Bean (professional baseball player). Okay I am done with that search, I am bored of that already. LOL. I think I am going to search for the Bean's of Massachussets since that is where my Grandpa Bean was born. He was born in Somerville, MA.

Google Search

My Grandpa Kirchner was born in Ofalu, Hungary and at some point migrated to Ulm, Germany. Which is where my father was born. My Grandfather and Grandmother Kirchner had my Uncle George who was born in 1946, then they had my Aunt Erika who was born in 1947, and then they had my dad who born in 1948. They had 3 kids. Something happened to Grandmother and my Uncle Georg, that of which I do not know what it is. Anyways, after my Grandma and Uncle Georg disappeared or whatever happened to them, my Grandpa Kirchner ended up remarrying. He married Julianna or Julianne Bolen, not sure if that spelling is right. Grandpa Kirchner and Julianna had my Uncle Hank, that was their only child together. Julianna had apparently had another son named John Jan Webber from another marriage I believe. They all lived together and ended up migrating to Canada. Which is where Grandpa Kirchner ended up becoming a Tobacco Farmer if I remember correctly. When Grandpa Kirchner was younger he was in the German Army under Hitler's reign. Yes, my Grandfather Kirchner was a Nazi. And from what I hear, he was very proud of being a Nazi and was a fan of Hitler's. I'm not sure what he did in the German Army, I think he was just a foot soldier. I'm not sure because I haven't been able to locate his military records yet. Anyways, back to the point of this post which is my Google Search. Here is one thing I found that is related to my grandfather in my search but I created it. It is hard to find anything at all on my Kirchner side of the family. Apparently my family on the Kirchner side has a dark history from what it sounds like. Which would make sense as to why I cannot find anything on my Grandma Kirchner or my Uncle Georg Kirchner Jr. Its like they just disappeared off of the face of the earth. I am not trying to search for them anymore. I guess I have given up on trying to find them and the truth of what happened to them. I want to know more about my Grandfather, even though I have heard he wasn't a good man. He is still my Grandfather and I never got to meet him so I would at least like to learn more about him. I have curiosity about him and my family. Ah, I'm bored of this search. Time to search something else because I am not finding what I am looking for in this search. Gr, I give up trying to find information on my family. Blah. Like Cousin Sandy said today, its better to not know the truth and think bad about the Kirchner name. I have awesome cousins and they're great and we're Kirchner's.

OMG, its cold

Man I can't take this cold weather. I just came in from taking the dog's outside and it is freeeeeezing out there. I checked the temperature and it said 19 but it doesn't feel like 19, it feels more like 2 degrees. Brrr. I can't wait until Spring comes. I am a Spring baby, I wasn't meant for the cold at all. I hate this cold weather. I know I am getting old when the cold makes my knees hurt, ugh.
