Down Yonder Under a Blue Sky

down yonder under a blue sky
raining in the morning
fields of hay oh what to say
what is life that there must be
controlling my brain which makes me INSANE
blue sky like a pocketful of sapphire or diamonds
run run to be incomplete
not whole yet not round
don’t make a sound
just hit the ground
your wound so tight
you eat light
so many pretty colors
blues and greens and purples
like a hippie stuck in a tye dye paradise
running and running till I can’t run no more
two breaths and I hit the floor
one two buckle my shoe
three four hit the door
we are the soldiers of misfortunate
