God Says Help The Homeless

You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. A righteous man knows the rights of the poor; a wicked man does not understand such knowledge. Whoever closes his ear to the cry of the poor will himself call out and not be answered. Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed. But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you. For you will be repaid at the resurrection of the just.
