Day 8 of Second 90 Day Challenge
Today this is what I ate as recorded in my Noom App:
Breakfast:

And it says I have 795 calories left that I can eat. So, my boss who is the one who got me on this diet pointed out to me today that I am not getting enough calories. Something to as which I didn't know or think about at all. Apparently I am not getting enough calories, I thought Calories were not good for you. I had no idea there was such a thing as not enough calories. But apparently you need to eat enough calories so you can burn off calories. Like I said, this is all new information to me. April also told me that I need to snack more during the day, which I haven't been doing. I haven't been doing that because I used to have a problem with eating when I was bored and I feel like if I snack a lot during the day that I will fall back into that habit which I don't want to do. BUT, if I snack on the right things such as string cheese and almonds etc then I will be okay. You're encouraged to snack a lot through the day but I still have that fear of eating/snacking too much in the day like I used to do and gaining weight. SO, I will overcome that fear and snack healthy throughout the day which I have been doing but I haven't been eating really. That is my problem, not eating enough in the day. As you can see from what I ate today I am not eating enough and when you don't eat enough your body stores fat and you gain weight. So the solution to the problem that I thought I had is really the problem so I will change that. I am starting on my second 90 Day Challenge and April said when she started her 90 Day Challenge that she had the same problem, she wasn't eating enough. So I am going to start eating more, healthy food and snacks of course. I am going to make this second 90 Day Challenge count. If it at first you don't succeed try again. And that is what I plan on doing.

I am on this diet and have been since 27 Dec 2014 and let me tell you, it works it really does. I have seen the change it has had on me and I love this change, it has helped me for the better. It has amazing results and it really works and it can work for you. It will change your life and it will change your attitude. Come on now, don't you want to eat healthier and feel better? My boss and I use an app for the iPhone called Noom which counts calories. You can enter what you ate for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well if you exercised and what kind of exercise you did. It will ask you when you first use the app what your goal weight is and it tracks your progress. Its a great app that I suggest you use unless you don't care about counting calories but I use it along with my diet and it helps us manage our calories. I didn't want to exercise I just wanted to be on a diet and lose weight. That was lazy of me but I wasn't ready to be on a diet I suppose, I wasn't ready to get healthier or more fit. But when I began the Body By Vi diet I was ready then and I am glad that I have had the determination and will power to do this. My parents and my Uncle and my Aunt all have Diabetes. My parents use Insulin and my Uncle uses an Insulin Pump and I think my Aunt takes pills. I don't want to get Diabetes and I am determined not to get it. But being overweight can cause Diabetes and I believe that may be why my dad got it. He got Diabetes not long after he stopped eating healthy and stopped exercising. He has gained weight since then and his Diabetes has only gotten worse. I am determined not to get Diabetes like the rest of my family. And knowing that it runs in my family crossed my mind all the time. And when I was told that I was overweight I was determined to change that. If I can do it you can do it for sure. It just takes determination and motivation. If you set your mind to it you can do anything.

You're encouraged to snack healthy throughout the day on things such as Almonds, Bananas, Broccoli, Cauliflower etc, you get the idea I hope. They encourage you to drink lots of water. I drink 4 bottles of water a day because for my body weight that's the amount of water I should be consuming a day, that's 16oz bottles of water a day. Sometimes I drink more than 4 bottles of water a day. You get 2 bags of Vi Shape Shake Mix to last you a month. The shake mix cost different prices based on which kit you have chosen in my case I chose the Shape Kit so after taxes I pay $114 a month. If you think about it you would spend less on this diet then you would on fast food for a month. I say that because I noticed what my Mom spent last week on fast food which is what she normally spends every day. My parents spend $140 a week at Wendy's, that's $560 a month of fast food. I'm saving more money in a month on this diet then they are in a week on fast food. The shakes taste good and they come with flavor packets such as Chocolate, Orange, Banana & Strawberry. I use Jello Sugar Free, Fat Free to put in my shakes to give them flavor and they taste good. I prefer the Chocolate over any of the other flavors. A lot of people don't want to go on a diet because it requires exercising and a lot of people don't like to exercise or don't have the time to exercise. The great thing about this diet is you're not required to exercise at all. It helps to exercise and you'll feel better and have more energy but its not a requirement on this diet. You can be on the diet and not exercise and still lose the weight. I exercise using the Wii doing Wii Fit and after I exercise I have so much more energy than I did before I exercised.
