Motivation & Goals

Motivation & a Goal

By: Aiden Kirchner

"Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal" - Henry Ford

5 Things To Do To Reach Your Goal
  1. Set goal
  2. Make plan
  3. Get to work
  4. Stick to it
  5. Reach goal

Obstacles are things we see when we take our eyes off the goal. Remember, a goal without a plan is just a wish. Set your mind for success. Find what motivates you to achieve your goals. When you know what you want, and you want it bad enough, you'll find a way to get it. The most important thing about motivation is goal setting.. You should always have a goal. Giving up on your goal because of one setback is like slashing your other three tires because you got one flat.

How To Achieve Your Goal
  • Define it
  • Want it
  • Believe it
  • Write it down
  • Split it up
  • Review it
  • Schedule it
  • Do it
One of the biggest challenges in meeting any goal, whether it be related to productivity, waking early, changing a habit, exercising, or just becoming happier, is finding the motivation to stick with it.

If you can stick with a goal for long enough, you'll almost always get there eventually. It just takes patience, and motivation.

Motivation is the key, but it's not always easy, day in and day out, to find that motivation.

Don't wait until you've reached your goal to be proud of yourself. Be proud of every step you take toward reaching that goal. The greatest danger is not that we aim too high and we miss it, but we aim too low and reach it.

Goal Setting Theory
Goals Need To Be:
  • Specific
  • Difficult
Goals Motivate By:
  • Directing attention
  • Encouraging effort
  • Encouraging persistence
  • Fostering goal-attainment strategies and action plans
GOALS ARE NOT TO-DOS, THEY ARE A VISION OF YOUR DREAMS!!!

If the plan doesn't work, change the plan. But never the goal!!

I may not be there yet, but I'm closer than I was yesterday. You are never to old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.

Tennessee Vols - The Passing of Pat Summit

Pat Summit Passed Away This Morning

In honor of the legendary Pat Summitt whom I grew up watching & hearing stories about as a kid, an amazing women who changed the rules for women in college basketball, a women who everyone could look up to as a positive role model. Hearing the news of the passing of Pat Summitt is like finding out one of your close relatives has passed on. Pat Summit, for us Tennesseans was like family to us. So in honor of Pat, I wear Orange today. Heaven now has an angel, and Pat will light heaven with the Big Orange. RIP PAT SUMMIT ‪#‎vols‬ ‪#‎patsummitt‬ ‪#‎ladyvols‬ ‪#‎ladyvolsbasketball‬

7 YouTube Marketing Tips for Reaching More Consumers

7 YouTube Marketing Tips for Reaching More Consumers
As many of you probably know, YouTube is the largest video content hosting and sharing platform where billions of users (almost 1/3 of internet users) watch millions of hours of videos a day. But did you know that it is now the video content platform of choice for younger audiences? In fact, a study done by The Intelligence Group found that 74% of 14- to 18-year-olds and 68% of 19- to 24-year-olds regularly visit YouTube to view video content.

As such, millennials have become increasingly attractive to online businesses not only because of their willingness to embrace information, but also because their spending power will continue to rise in the future. With that in mind, here are seven YouTube marketing tips for reaching more millennial consumers:

1. Know your target audience

Although this may sound like a no-brainer, you should have in-depth knowledge of your target consumers including their tastes, product preferences, disposable income, spending behavior, sites they visit and the type of content they consume. It is worth noting that millennials are generally more entrepreneurial, with 72% of high-school students saying that they would like to own their own businesses and 76% saying they hope to turn their hobbies into full-time jobs, according to data published by Mashable. You can use this information to develop and deploy marketing campaigns that appeal to the entrepreneurial spirit exhibited by millennials.

2. Leverage Facebook ad data

According to Facebook's 2015 fourth quarter figures, the social networking site attracts about one billion monthly users, has 2.5 million advertisers, has 500 million users on Events, generates 100 million video views daily, and has 50 million small businesses on Pages.

Furthermore, about 93% of American teens have a Facebook profile, making the site one of the most popular marketing platforms due to its wide reach. More importantly, you can take advantage of Facebook ad data to reach millennials. For example, you can use Facebook Atlas to buy ads, target a specific consumer demographic, optimize ads, as well as leverage Facebook data to reach consumers on Facebook and non-Facebook marketing platforms.

3. Create relatable ads and video content

Your business can also reach more millennial consumers by creating and publishing relatable ads and video content. A study done by Hunter Qualitative Research on behalf of Defy Media found that 66% of millennials turn to digital content to relax. This means millennials are more likely to watch entertaining, soothing and relaxing content when they feel stressed or when they want to unwind. It is also worth noting that ephemeral messaging is a popular activity among millennials, meaning you can use this insight to target them with ads and video content whose nature is ephemeral.

4. Call-to-action (CTA)

Your marketing content should have a prominent but not obtrusive call-to-action to entice the target audience to perform/complete a desired action. Fortunately, advances in technology have made it easier to include call-to-action buttons in video content. Some of the key goals you could accomplish with CTAs include directing viewers to your company's site/landing page, urge consumers to join a mailing list, ask consumers to subscribe to a newsletter, take a poll/survey, perform A/B testing and measure performance of marketing campaign.

5. Leverage the power of how-to videos

Instructional videos can improve the impact of a marketing campaign targeting millennials significantly. Figures published in the YouTube Insights report show that how-to videos influenced the purchasing decisions made by 62% of millennial smartphone buyers. Furthermore, 9% of millennials interact with YouTube video content that they like. This includes sharing or commenting about videos viewed on YouTube. This behavior is beneficial to marketers because actions such as word of mouth advertising or product recommendations from friends are more powerful and persuasive compared to conventional marketing efforts.

6. Title and description

Before publishing content on YouTube, remember to add a suitable title and description. Remember, YouTube content also surfaces on Google's search results meaning you should take an SEO-driven approach to improve the visibility of your videos online. The rule of thumb is to create video titles that are less than 70 characters long. Moreover, do not use titles that trick web users to watch video content because such an approach will have a negative impact on content ranking over time. At the same time, use clear, concise language to describe video content in about two sentences. This description should also contain the relevant keywords.

7. Data analytics

Invest in data analytics tools/talent and deploy data-driven strategies to ensure that your ads and video content reach the right audience. This will also enable you to monitor competitors, identify emerging trends, monitor what consumers say about your brand, take steps to address consumer dissatisfaction, optimally price products/services, and launch marketing campaigns that can deliver a positive ROI.

Conclusion
Compared to other consumer demographics, millennials are spending more time watching videos hosted on YouTube. To reach them, you should develop marketing campaigns that incorporate in-depth knowledge of the target audience, data analytics, appropriate CTAs, relatable ads and video content, instructional videos, as well as suitable video titles and descriptions.

Search Engine Optimization Aiden Kirchner

SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION (SEO)

What Is SEO?

SEO stands for “search engine optimization.” It is the process of getting traffic from the “free,” “organic,” “editorial” or “natural” search results on search engines.
All major search engines such as GoogleBing and Yahoo have primary search results, where web pages and other content such as videos or local listings are shown and ranked based on what the search engine considers most relevant to users. Payment isn’t involved, as it is with paid search ads.

•Drink too much
•Let themselves go
•Let bad habits control them
•Know everything....and that's okay with them
•Care What other people think about them
•Back down from adversity
•Don't stop
•Give other people the power to define "success" for them
•Accept anything as truth without questioning it
•Let friends or family dictate major life decisions
•Cling to past beliefs that were proven wrong
•Concern themselves with the unpredictable
•Agonize over criticisms or personal insults
•Think success will come "quick" or "easy"
•Wait for the "right time" to take action
•Forget the people who matter

God Says To Help The Homeless

God Says Help The Homeless

You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. A righteous man knows the rights of the poor; a wicked man does not understand such knowledge. Whoever closes his ear to the cry of the poor will himself call out and not be answered. Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed. But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you. For you will be repaid at the resurrection of the just.

Dreams, Goals & Being an Entrepreneur

Dreams, Goals & Being an Entrepreneur

Do you have what it takes to be an Entrepreneur?

Everybody has a dream, but not everybody has a grind. Some wake up to an alarm, others wake up to a calling. I woke up at 5am this morning, because I rise & grind. #workhardhhustlehard
You can't do big things if you're distracted by small things. Success is a simple measurement of the commitment, sacrifice and pain one endures to achieve a DREAM. And at some point you have to get tired of losing. Remember, excuses will always be there for you, but opportunity won't. In order to succeed we must first believe that we can. I BELIEVE IN YOU!
When my body get tired, my mind says,
"This is where winners are made"
When my mind gets tired, my heart says,
"This is where Champions are made."
Champions aren't made in the gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them.
A DESIRE,
A DREAM,
A VISION.

DAILY AFFIRMATION
I am filled with positive energy. Life gets better everyday. I will surround myself with positive people, people who encourage me to do better and be better. I will choose my circle wisely and avoid being around those who are always complaining and always discouraged. I will surround myself with people who have goals and dreams. I will be amongst winners because I am a winner.
I AM A CHAMPION. (WHO ARE YOU?)

Never allow waiting to become a habit. Live your dreams and take risks. Life is happening now. Say it - "I AM A CHAMPION. I AM A CHAMPION CHOOSER. I CHOOSE TO COMMIT TO CHANGE, BECAUSE I'M WILLING TO PAY THE PRICE TO FULFILL MY GOALS AND DREAMS." When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe then you will be successful. WHO AM I? I AM A CHAMPION! No one will deny my. No one will defy me. Set goals. Say prayers. Work hard. I didn't get there by wishing for it or hoping for it, but by working for it.

Never let yourself get too comfortable. Seek challenges, push yourself and ignore what others think. If you don't SACRIFICE for what you want, what you want becomes the sacrifice. Become the best version of yourself. Don't listen to the haters who will tell you that what you're doing is wrong. Simply because they don't have the courage to get out of their comfort zone and find their true passion. I am committed to being a better person today than I was yesterday.
Better thoughts...
Better decisions...
Better actions...
