Take Steps, Be Heard for Crohn's and Colitis

Take Steps, Be Heard for Crohn's and Colitis

This is an issue/cause that is important to me because my Fiance' Jen has Crohn's Disease & fights against it everyday. I wanted to share this with everyone in hopes that yall will check it out and help me spread awareness about Crohn's Disease. And so you can help Jen and many others fight against Crohn's Disease and help others be aware about what Crohn's Disease is. I found a link earlier for a Crohn's Disease walk that will take place at the Richmond International Raceway. I got excited because I had been searching for something like this last week but gave up my Google search I was doing. I'm always trying to find ways to support Jen in her fight with Crohn's Disease, so I'm glad I found the link.
And I'm glad Jen checked out the link and signed us up. I'm also glad that Jen knows I support her 100%, I will always support her. Its not her fault at all that she got Crohn's Disease and she shouldn't blame herself at all. Crohn's Disease is not hereditary in her family, no one else has it. When Jen was diagnosed with the disease it was found that the cause of her getting Crohn's Disease was due to an Acne medication she took when she was about 20 or 21. Jen has struggled & battled her Crohn's Disease ever since she was diagnosed. She has always stayed positive about it and kept her head up and I'm proud of her for that. Living with a disease like Crohn's Disease is not an easy thing to live with at all. She isn't on any medications for her Crohn's Disease because she doesn't have insurance and she's unable to work because of the disease. I clicked on the link and checked it out, I'm glad I did. I went to the website & briefly read some of the details on the event but didn't read it all because I stopped reading it so I could send it to Jen. She's better at understanding information on sites and getting all the details so I sent the link to her. She checked it out, joined it and signed us up to participate in the event, which I think is great. I'm glad Jen knows that I support her in this, before I met her I didn't even know what Crohn's Disease was and had never even heard of it before. Since then I've learned what the disease is and because of Jen I've learned about others who live with the disease. When Jen & I first got together she was the only person I knew who had the disease, but over time I have learned of others who also live with the disease. And to my surprise, a lot of people live with Crohn's Disease actually. So I ask everyone to please check this out and participate and or donate if you can. I want to thank everyone in advance who helps support Jen in her fight with Crohn's Disease. So please check this out and participate and donate if you can. Thank you so much and thank you for supporting the Richmond Take Steps for Crohn's & Colitis event on behalf of my Fiance' Jen. This is something that is important to us and we would love it if you would check it out, join and participate in this event. Jen & I will definitely be there, we hope to see you as well.
