A Rainy Sunday

It started raining this morning when I got to work. It's been raining all day. We're supposed to have freezing rain tonight unfortunately. It's still raining and will probably rain all evening and night. I bet the creeks are flooding. 

At home now with my babies. Kali was laying on my lap, I love her, she's my baby. Jen is asleep so she worked last night and she's not feeling good. Her back has been hurting her. She went to the hospital to see about her back but I can't remember what she said they told her was wrong with her. I think it was something to do with her muscles. But she is sleeping now so I am going to try to be quiet this evening and not disturb her. 

Today was a productive day for me. I got lots done and did fe out of dates today which weren't much but 2 bags of stuff is more than enough. I have decided to start checking them on Sunday before April does the order. 

I drank a Banana Vi Shake for breakfast and ate a Banana. I also drank a bottle of water before I got to work. Then I drank 2 cups of Juva Roast. I also ate Almonds as a snack that Jen had gotten me. Almonds are supposed to be good for you. Around 12 I drank another Vi Shake and drank my 2nd bottle of water. As a snack after lunch I ate some Gluten Free Tuscany Chips we sell at work. And I started on my 3rd bottle of water which I haven't finished yet but am almost done with. I have been eating healthier since I started this diet. I got my kit on Friday so I started my diet then. Well technically I started I think it was Thursday that April gave me a shake for breakfast. So I started my diet Thursday because that is when I started eating healthier and stopped eating crap food. So I am on Day 4 of the Body By Vi Diet. Thursday I went to the VA for an appointment and when they weighed me I was 145. I haven't weighed myself because I don't have a scale so I don't know what I currently weigh. I really need to get a scale or see if Mom can get me one. Not sure how much they cost. But having one is important in my dieting process. So that is next on my list to get. And I still haven't taken a before photo and I really don't want to but I know it's important to take one while doing this diet so I can see the change and progress. So I am going to have to suck it up and take one. I don't like my body, hence why I am doing this diet. That's why I don't want to take a photo of myself. 

So I am off The next couple days, gotta work tomorrow though then I'm off yay. Man yesterday I was so busy at work. I did over $5000 in sales yesterday. Needless to say I was slammed. A transformer at a substation in Dooms caught on fire causing around 30,000 people to lose power. So that's why I was so busy because everyone was coming in. I haven't been that busy in quite awhile. In fact I can't remember the last time I did over or even close to $5000 in sales. It was a good day for business for sure. 

Since I have been home I have sat on the couch petting Cinder as she fell asleep. I need to do laundry, it must be done. Jen did laundry last time so it's my turn now. Man Jen made the house look nice, she did a good job at cleaning. Now I just got to keep this house as clean as she made it. If only I could get some motivation and energy to clean and do laundry now. Laundry will get done because I know o need clothes for work tomorrow. 

So I have been family research on the Ancestry . Com website. I have the app for it on my tablet so I use that. And since I got an iPhone I downloaded the app on there so I can use on both now. I kind of gave up on researching the Kirchner side of the family. I repeatedly kept coming to a dead end and it go me nowhere so I decided to move on to other parts of my family tree. I added Jen as my Spouse on there and so now I can research her side of he family tree which I have been doingn. And to be honest it's quite interesting and fun really. Jen is related to General Turner Ashby of the Confederate States of America. I know that because it's on her Grandma Nancy's side of the family but I haven't gotten that far up the family tree yet but I'm close, real close. Nancy also told me that she is related to Robert E Lee also of the CSA. I haven't discovered that yet. But it's obvious that she's related to Turner Ashby because I have a Turner Ashby on he family tree, not the General Turner Ashby but a Turner born after him. And most of them have Turner as their middle name probably named after him. I'm excited to add him to the family tree, I can't wait. I will be researching the Ashby's this evening. Hopefully I can make a connection this evening. I can't remember who I stopped on but I think it was John Ashby. Who if I can remember right has a son named Turner Ashby. I love researching my family history and learning new things. Most but not all of the Census Record tell the person's occupation during that time and the highest grade they completed and if they lived on a farm or not. You can learn so much about a person in your family that you've never even met it's just so interesting to discover everything you never knew. I share my discoveries with Dad and Jen and Mom. My Uncle Larry also is a member of Ancestry and he researches our family too. Sometimes I am able to get information I am missing from Uncle Larry's tree because on there it allows you to connect to a member's tree which is also very helpful sometimes but sometimes it could also be very confusing because sometimes aome people have the wrong information. I know that because the information doesn't make sense or it's just not correct. Not sure where some people get their information from but they should probably correct it because they would get a lot farther in their research if they did so. There used to be an option on there that would let you find out what famous people you are related to but I will be damn if I can find out how to do that again or if I can do it or maybe they took it off the website. Who knows but when I did Ishtar it said I always related to George bus the President, we were distant relatives several times removed. And it also said I was related to Henry Lightfoot Lee which is someone famous, I think he was a Gerlneral or something, I don't know. I've heard his name before from Dad, I think he was in the Military maybe the Civil war or something. And I believe he is related to the Lee's as in Robert E Lee possibly. I don't know though like I said I can't figure out how to find that again or even how I did it the first time because it was so long ago. But I am interested in finding what famous people I am related too so I will not give up in fact I may just email Ancestry and ask them how to do it because I can't find the link. Of course I have been on my Kindle Fire Ancestry App so I may not be able to do it on my tablet and might have to get on my laptop to do it. I think I'm going to email them because I really want to know. The suspense is killing me lol. Well time to hop off here and get on my tablet to do some research. Hopefully the freaking website is working today because yesterday I couldn't crap because the website was down and nothing was working. It was very fray testing for me because that is my hobby, but not only that it's how I occupy my time when I am bored. I hope it's working today so I will have something to do. I could get on Facebook but there's only so much to do on there and sometimes it gets boring on there. With Ancestry I never get bored because there is always something new to do and learn and discover. The possibilities are endless on there. 

We'll, I believe I have written my page for the day. I didn't write anything yesterday because I wasn't in the mood really to write. And I was tired, exhausted and worn out really from the busy day I had at work. I ended up going to bed earlier then I normally do because I was so tired.  I talked to Mom and Dad several times yesterday. Their power went out yesterday too but it finally came back on. Dad had to wake up because he sleeps with a Cpap Machine and we'll since the power went out his machine wasn't working. I be the was tired, he probably went to bed early too. Well Connor is laying on my lap now trying tp get comfortable and wanting me to pet him so I am done writing for the day or at least for now. 

Chapter 6 - My Book

Petra was controlling and she liked to put shit in my head. She tried to turn me against my parents. During the time I was living there I didn't get to see my parents much or talk to them and I regret it now because that was time lost with my parents. She would always tell me that my parents didn't love me and that they were more my family then my parents were. I hate her for that. One time I went out to eat with Dad and when I came home man did I get the third degree. Petra was mad at me for going out to dinner with my dad. She didn't talk to me for a week after that. That was one thing that always stressed me, she would go days without talking to me every time she got mad at me or I did something that she didn't like. She played major mind games with me.

So Petra's son Tony went and signed up for the Army National Guard. He told the recruiter when asked why he wanted to join that he wanted to kill people. The recruiter said well your in the right place. So he had joined the Army. Petra kinda pushed me in a way and well Al was a Vietnam Veteran and Petra had been in the Coast Guard. So the whole family was military. And they treated me and considered me to be family so I kinda felt like it was my duty to sign up for the military. I eventually ended up signing up for the Army. It was my choice but like I said I was kind of coerced and talked into it. I went to MEPS to take the ASVAB and I failed it. Man I was so upset and disappointed. I eventually ended up taking it again and passed it. Time went by and I got ready and prepared to go off for Boot Camp. I worked out and did lots of PT.

Before I joined the Army I dumbly got a joint account with Petra. All my Army money went into that account. Do you know I got not one cent of my money while I was in the Army because Petra took my bank card before I went off to Boot Camp. She said I didn't need money in the Army. My battle buddies took care of me and bought me stuff I needed thankfully. The only reason I had money is because I did other people's guard duty and they paid me. I used my money wisely.

I really dislike Petra for everything she has done to me. She Don't know how she screwed me up. She played so many mind games with me and she was so controlling and wanted me to stay away from my family.

Chapter 4 - My Book

I ended up meeting a girl named Nicki from Roanoke and we started dating. Nicki eventually moved in with me at my apartment. She was a good housewife making dinner and fixing my lunch for work. But the thing that bothered me about her was that she didn't work. When I met her she had just graduated from Hollins. I can't remember why I moved out of my apartment but Nicki and I ended up moving out and into these people's basement that they had for rent. Kathy and Eddie were there names and they were into partying and drinking and Kathy did drugs. Eddie used to be a DEA Agent go figure. We didn't stay living there long. They were overcharging me for rent. I was paying 500 dollars a week in rent which was ridiculous. At the time I didn't think about how I was getting screwed over.
Eddie and Kathy ended up getting in a domestic dispute and Kathy got her head busted open by Eddie when he threw her against the sliding glass door. Mind you Eddie did it cos he thought Kathy was cheating on him. She got a restraining order against him and he wasn't allowed on the property. During that time Kathy had all kinds of people over the house and she was doing drugs with them. Nicki and I lived in the basement apartment and weren't allowed upstairs. But one time I snuck up there after a night of their partying and found drug paraphenelia. Anyways after that Nicki and I ended up moving in with my parents.
At that point in our relationship it wasn't working out. I didn't want to be with her and she got mad when I talked to my friends who were girls. My sister Donica had just bought me a brand new pair of Vans from her store, JC Penny's and Nicki got mad at me and put hair gel in my brand new Vans. Man I was fucking pissed off. That was the breaking point for me.
I told Mom what Nicki had did and I told her I was done with Nicki. Mom and Dad kicked Nicki out. One of Nicki's friends from Pennsylvania came and got her and she was gone and out of my life. I was never so thankful to be rid of her.

Not much to say about Nicki. She moved in my apartment with me and at first she was okay but as our relationship went on so did the drama. She had a friend who was also her ex boyfriend, Michael was his name and him and Nicki were close. I think she cheated on me with him while I was at work.

When I had my apartment in Waynesboro I allowed Olivia my sister's friend to move in with me. She was dating Josh, a guy who went to school with us. I didn't like him at all. I think Olivia cheated on him or maybe it was him that cheated on her. I don't remember but it's not important. That whole situation was a train wreck from the beginning really. Olivia didn't end up living with me long though. I guess I always allowed people to live with me. I think it was because I was lonely.

One time Munchkin scratched me on the inside of my nose and my nose was gushing with blood and wouldn't stop. I called Sonics and mom and they came over to help me. I was apparently making my nose worse leaning my head the wrong way but mom and Sonics fixed me all up.

A Cold Day

Man it feels like it could snow. Its like 38 degrees outside brr cold. Went and got my coffee this morning and Tabitha and April were there. They were having an Audit and were busy. Tabitha left at 12:30 so that meant April would have to run register. As if she didn't have a million other things to do. Poor April is having a rough day. I would have worked but I couldn't cos that would have put me in overtime and we can't get overtime at work. At least I will be there tomorrow.

At Mom and Dad's now. I entered some of my Coke Rewards Caps and earned ten cents off of gas on my Shell Fuel Rewards Card cos I redeemed 45 Coke Rewards. I have over 200 Coke Rewards Points now. It would only let me enter up to 120 reward points. Oh well at least I got a bunch of points now. I am waiting for my mom to get ready so we can go find her two jobs for this week for her unemployment. Then we will probably go shopping. I have a grocery list made, a small one but I needed some stuff. I am almost out of cash and mom always helps me out. I don't know what I would do without her. I am so grateful for my parents.

Hopefully we go to Starbucks, we normally do on the days I spend with mom. Mom gets a coffee and I get my Cafe Mocha.

Day 6

I am thankful for mommy Janet and everyrhing ahe does for me. I am thankful I still have my mom. I love her so very much. Today mom went with me to mt appointment in Salem at the Veteran's Hospital. I had to go get my depo shot and I am glad mom went with me. After my appointment we went to rhe Starbucks in Salem. I checked in on Foursquare and it said I was in California for some reason. Weird. After we left Salem we headed to Waynesboro. Mom wasn't able to get her two jobs because we disn't make it back in time unfortunately. I was trying to hurry home but oh well. We went to Kmart and I picked up my layaway and bought some stuff. I bought the crock pot I had been eyeing for weeks. I finally decided to buy it while they still had it. Its a small crockpot with a cute pattern on it. And mom bought aome more mouse traps. Mom and dad seem to be having a problem with mice this year. Mom also bought some decon, thats supposed to kill them. After that we went to Wnlendys and back to their house and then I came home.

So I am thankful for my mom. I am thankful that I can spend time woth her and go out and do stuff with her. I am thankful for everything ahe has done for me and still continues to do for me. I am lucky to have my mom and I am so glad I still have her. I love my mom and can't imagine being without her. My mom is a one of kind and she is sweet hearted person. I love everything about my mom. To me my mom is perfect.

Cleaning & Coffee

So I have yet to start cleaning. I gaven't gotten motivated to clean yet but I am motivated to write. That's how it works out though. Need to finish my.coffee and make some more. Might have to go get aome Pumpkin Pie Spice Creamer from Food Lion since I left mine at Mom and Dad's. I will have to get mine from there house Friday. I will be drinking coffee all day. That will help motivate me to clean maybe. Or it will help motivate me to continue to write. Either way sometime this house needs to be cleaned today and today is probably the only day I will have to do it or the only day I will feel like doing it. I am going to ne tired Friday but I have to stay on top of my meds and on the right schedule. But I won't be able to take my meds Thursday night since I have to work. My Risperdal makes me fall asleep so I can't take that Thursday night since I will be at work. Oh well its all good. Hopefully one night without my meds will be okay.

My day so far

At Mom and dads house. Waiting for the lawyer to call. Woke up this morning and Jen was awake. Apparently she had a flat tire last night and had to have het car towed. She had been up all night. Woke up and spent time with her and my doggies then took a shower got dressed and went for my coffee. April and Cheryl were working and I talked to them for a bit. Then headed to mom and dads. Mom bought me a huge thing of Pumpkin Pie Spice Creamer. Yay now I have creamer to use at home now I just need milk.

My Day & Thoughts

Stayed busy today at work. Chopped onions and the tears flowed and they made my nose run, they were strong. Someone said to put a piece of bread in my mouth while I cut them and it will fix that. Jen is at work wish she was at home. The weather is nice and I am not even wearing my coat that tells ya iys warm outside. I do have a thermal on however. I raised $5 or $6 for Breast Cancer on my shift and $2 on Cheryl's shift. So I raised about $8. Cheryl did good last night she raised over $20 and Tabitha and I raised over $15. We have reached $1300 and our goal this year was $700. Last year the goal was $60 and of course we met our goal. In November we will be doing Operation Christmas Child where we raise money and buy stuff to pack shoeboxes for children in other countries. I put my address on one box last year hoping the kid who got it would write me back but I never did hear anything back. I hope the kids have bright amiles and a great Christmas when they receieve their shoeboxes. Its all about brightening the day of a child and them having a good Christmas.

So I was looking out in my yard and realizing how many leaves I have to rake and oh man there is a lot. It seems like it will take forever especially cos I will be doing it by myaelf. And I have to pick up the limbs and put them in the trash can and I still have to mow the grass at least one more time before the cold weather hits. Ugh I am not looking forward to mowing. Oh well it must be done.

Wish Jen was home but she's not but she has to work and I understand. I just wish she worked a different shift. Oh well. So I am off Friday and I get two my pay check and my VA Check so I will be off paying bills plus I have an appointment at the VA Clinic that day so my day will be full. Then on the 6th I have to go Salem VA Hospital for an appointment. So that takes care of my two days off. Friday I am going to have to see if Mom wants to go look for her jobs for the next week because going to Salem will probably fill my day up. Guess we shall see cos I don't know what time my appointment is but its just for my Depo Shot so it won't take long. Maybe I will see if mom wants to go with me then we can go look for her jobs or do it before my appointment.

Memories

I love my family all of them even if we don't talk everyday. I live how much alike my cousins on my dads side and I are. My Kirchner cousins and I are so similar, we have so much in common and I am glad for that. Its nice to have family that you can relate to and that have similar interests and hobbies and the similar way of thinking.

Its nice to be able to sit down and write my thoughts down and keep a journal. When my dad was growing up my Grandna Bean made him write a journal and he wrote in it everyday. I still have dad's journal but I think its in cursive so I couldn't read it very well. I am sure dad could decifer his writing maybe. Grandma Bean was a teacher I believe and so she was always focused on learning and reading and writing. Maybe that's where I get it from. I have always had a love for reading and writing. I get the love of reading from dad because he has always loved to read. His favorite books to read are civil war books, mostly about the Confederate Army the south. He has so many books it would take me forever to read them all but he has read them all. I have read some of his books. Mostly the ones about Tennessee, Cades Cove and the Great Smoky Mountains. Writing well, I don't know where I get that from. I have always loved to write since I was old enough to write. When I was in elementary school I won poet of the month. I can't remember what my poem was about though. But I remember I was proud of myself. They hung up my poem in the cafeteria for all to see. I rememver getting so many compliments about it too. Over the years I have won the Editor's Choice Award for Outstanding Achievement in Poetry through poetry dot com and the Intrrnational Library of Poetry. I still have two of my certificates from there. I won on October 2006 and June 2005. I don't know where all my other certificates went unless Mom has them somewhere. I have a book that I keep all my certificates in. I have all of my certifications in there. I have my certificate from Basic Training at Fort Jackson and my Cambridge Certified Internet Associate certification from Camvridge Intercontinental University. I have my Career Resdiness Certificate issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia. I have my Annual Report Team certificate from when I worked on the Annual Report at WWRC in 2008. I have my MS Excel 2003 Fundamentals certificate from Brainbench. My Computer Fundamentals (Win XP) certificate from Brainbench. I have my Microsoft Excel 2003 Microsoft Office Specialist Certification and my Microsoft Office Word 2003 Microsoft Office Specialist Certification that I recieved through Blue Ridge Community College. And I have all my certifications from Skillsoft that I recieved while at WWRC. I have Certificate Of Achievement from WWRC for completion of Study Strategies Made Easy. I have my MS Word and English Grammar Certifications I recieved from BrainBeez. I also have my certification from Learn To Type dot com and at that time I typed 60 words per minute without any errors. I have my Customer Service Certification I received while at WWRC. I also have my certificate as an ordained minister from the Universal Life Church Monastry which I recieved on 17 September 2008. Yes I am an ordanined minister.

My Day

So today was day 2 of training Tabitha and she did good. Tomorrow she should be able to run the register by herself while I do paperwork. Today was a busy day and it got even busier after we lowered our gas prices. 711 was having a grand opening or something so they lowered their prices so we lowered ours. After that we were so busy with people getting gas. Since they were having their thing that meant they would change their gas prices back up so April and I stayed over so we could change our gas back up. We sold a lot of hot dogs too more then we normally do which is always a good thing. Now I am home and Jen isn't feeling good. Thinkin maybe the flu shot made her sicker. You are not supposed to get flu shot if you're sick and she had or still has pneumonia. So she is laying on the couch resting and watching tv. We both have to work tomorrow so we will be fighting over the shower tomorrow and she always wins. Forgot to call the lawyer back today guess I will do it Monday since they don't work weekends. Can't wait to get divorced and finally be done with it all and put it all in the past. I had like 6 cups of coffee at work today well I am still drinking on the 6th cup now. I was bouncing off the walls lol. But, I got a lot done today and we were busy so we did good for the day. We raised $20 in donations for Breast Cancer for the Susan G Komen of Augusta County Foundation. We reached our goal for today which I set at $15 so we did good. We did better than yesterday that's for sure. Didn't get to talk to mommy yesterday because when dad called mom was at the kingdom hall at the meeting. So hopefully I get to talk to her today. I posted a bunch of stuff on her Facebook Wall I wonder if she saw it or knows how to look at it. It was a bunch of a recipes I posted on there. I want to make some of those at mom's house, it would be nice to cook with mom. We used to cook together when I was a kid. Mom is a good cook and I learn from the best. Today isn't as cold as it was yesterday but I had frost on my windows this morning before I went to work. I am going to have to start getting up earlier so I can defrost my windows. I hate this weather, the cold sucks but I guess I should look at this way, at least its not raining or snowing. So at least I am grateful for that. Off to do laundry which I am almost caught up on or so I think. Still need to so my Daily Writing Prompt which I have not picked a topic on yet.

Had a good day

Went with Mom today. I got to Mom and Dad's house and Zeus was outside waiting for me. Went in and started watching a show with Mom that was on Animal Planet. It was about dogs being rescued. Then I went and got on the computer and checked my emails and wrote some. Then I decided to work in my online class the IT Course. I did one lesson and took a test which I passed. I stopped at the beginning of the next lesson because the lawyer called and I talked to him about getting divorced. I am supposed to get a call from another lawyer but one who is in Connecticut since that is where we got married. Supposed to hear from the lawyer in 3 days. After I got off the phone with the lawyer I took Zeus outside and enjoyed the nice warm sunshine. The weather was nice today. Probably the warmest weather we will have all week. Thankfully I was off work to enjoy the weather. After I got done smokibg I let Zeus inside and Mom and I left. I took Mom to a place she hadn't been before and she got her two jobs. Then we went to Kmart and she paid on my layaway for me. We were in Kmart for awhile and after that we went to visit with Grandpa. Grandpa gave me a chair that he didn't want. So now I have another chair I can use at the computer desk. After we left Grandpa's we went and got food at Wendys. I got a Chilli with Cheese and Onions but haven't eaten yet because I am not hungry right now. Then we went back to Mom and Dad's and I let Zeus outside and then I left. Now I am home and let Bella and Cinder out to go pee and Jen is asleep. Thankfully she is off Wednesday too because we can spend the day together. I got a headache, think I might take an Advil. Not sure why my head hurts. I haven't had a headache in awhile. Mom and I went to Starbucks after we left the house. I got a Cafe Mocha in my Starbucks cup and a Pumpkin Sugar Cookie. Mom got a Orange something another, not sure what it was called but it had Orange flavor in it. It disn't taste too bad but I like my coffee. The Cafe Mocha is my favorite along with the Veggie Artisan Breakfast Sandwich. I love Starbucks. I always look foreard to two things during the week, one being spending time with my parents and the other being able to go to Starbucks and getting my coffee. Too bad we don't have a Starbucks in Verona, that would be awesome. I don't see that happening any time soon though. So Jen and I went out for breakfast this morning at Kathy's Restaurant in Staunton. I ate eggs, bacon chocolate chip pancakes and toast. I even had leftovers which I plan on eating later. Probably going to eat the rest for breakfast tomorrow. So I Louie gave me a pumpkin a couple weeks ago and I brought it home and sat it on the porch. I haven't done anyrhing with it but its a pretty big Pumpkin. I think I might carve it into something. Jen cared our pumpkin last year and she did a good job at it. I have never carvded a pumpkin before because I grew up not celebrating holidays so I never got to do it but I think I will this uear. Just need to get me a carving kit. So for Halloween this year I am going to dress up in a Lederhosen which is a German Bavarian Outfit. Either that or Spider-Man again since I still have my costume from last year. Anyways time to do some house cleaning amd then eat some of my Chilli.

What A Great Day So Far

I called legal shield about my divorce and an attorney is supposed to call me back today. I figured I would get that out of the way. Hopefully this divorce will go smoothly. Went and got my coffee and while I was at work I climbed the sign and changed the gas price up one cent. Then I dropped off Jen's medicine and headed to Mom and Dad's house. Zeus was outside waiting for me. Lol. About to go check my email and work in my online class. Fun fun.
